Rules and Regulations of WBCF World Championship Show 2016
Classes
Baby Class from 3 to 6 months
Puppy Class from 6 to 9 months
Junior Class from 9 to 18 months
Intermediate Class from 15 to 24 months
Open Class from 15 months
Champion Class from 15 months
Veteran Class from 8 years
The date that identifies the age of a dog is the day of the show.
Males and females are judged separately in each class.
Judges
Three judges examine each class of dogs in the same ring: FCI judge, КС judge (the Kennel Club) and AKC judge (the American Kennel Club).
The following judges have been invited to the WBCF World Championship Show in 2016:
FCI judge – Anne-Marie Class
AKC judge– Ms. Ann M Hubbard (the USA)
KC judge – Mrs. Maria Taylor (Great Britain)
Evaluation, certificates, titles
After examination of each dog, a judge fills out an evaluation sheet (description) on each dog. A judge gives points from 1 to 5 (1 - the lowest point and 5 - the maximum point) on the following characteristics:
- Type and balance
- Head
- Front and shoulders
- Topline
- The back side, movement (gait)
Judges hand in evaluation sheets to the Secretariat, that summarizes and compares the points. On the basis of these points the titles are awarded.
Four dogs, that scored maximum points, are chosen in the final.
Class winner (CW) is given to a male and a female, received maximum points in its class.
Best Baby is chosen by the comparison of points received by dogs that are awarded with CW titles in the baby class.
Best Puppy is chosen by the comparison of points received by dogs that are awarded with CW titles in the puppy class.
Best Junior is chosen by the comparison of points received by dogs that are awarded with CW titles in the junior class.
Best veteran is chosen by the comparison of points received by dogs that are awarded with CW titles in the veteran class
Best of Sex (Male) is chosen by the comparison of points of CW in Intermediate, Open and Champion classes.
Best of Sex (Female) is chosen by the comparison of points of CW in Intermediate, Open and Champion classes.
Junior WBCF World Championship winner 2016 is awarded to a junior female and a junior male received maximum points in the junior class.
WBCF World Championship winner 2016 is awarded to the dogs received maximum points by the comparison of results in Intermediate, Open and Champion classes.
Veteran WBCF World Championship winner 2016 is awarded to a veteran female and a veteran male received maximum points in the veteran class.
In the finals, BOB and BOS are chosen according to the total points that dogs received from all three judges.
