Vija Klucniece (Latvia)
Mrs Vija Klucniece is a philologist of Latvian language and literature, married, 2 sons. She has been a dog owner since 1977, a breeder since 1980, an FCI judge since 1998. Mrs Vija Klucniece has been a President of Toy breeds Club for 10 years. As a member of the Board of this club she advised breeders, who usually have only one dog/bitch, the choice of mating partners, planned litters. During 10 years she checked more than 2000 litters of different breeds. Mrs Vija Klucniece started her breeding with Kleinspitzes, imported the first representative of this breed in Latvia. Later she owned Chow Chow. Since 2009 she has been breeding Papillons. Mrs Vija Klucniece was elected as a president of Latvian Cynology Federation in 1996. Since 1998 she has been a lecturer on Cynological Courses. Mrs Vija Klucniece is an author of more than 100 articles about dogs, cats, animal welfare in different magazines, newspapers. Mrs Vija Klucniece judged at the dog shows in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Russia, Belarus, Ukraina, Poland, Moldova, Sweden, Finland, Norway, France, Italy, Hungary, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Croatia, Spain, Portugal, Luxemburg, Bulgaria, Romania, Australia, Mexico, Kazahstan. Mrs Vija Klucniece is a specialist of FCI groups V and IX. She often judges Sighounds and Datschaunds, Yorkshire Terriers.
