1. National Special Dog Shows are the part of the World Dog Show-2016 holding at the same dates and at the same venue.

The following classes are recognized at the National Special Dog Shows:

            Baby Class (from 3 to 6 months)

            Puppy Class (from  6 to 9 months)

            Junior Class (from 9 to 18 months)

            Intermediate class (from 15 to 24 months)

Open Class (15 months and over)

Working Class (15 months and over)

Champion Class (15 months and over)

Veteran Class (8 years and over)

The decisive date for age is the day the dog is shown.

 

3.1.Any dogs registered with the studbook or with the appendix to the studbook of an FCI member country, or KC (English Kennel Club), or AKC (American Kennel Club), or CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) are allowed for the show.

Dogs with docked tails or cropped ears are admitted to the Shows.

It is the duty of the organizer to provide in advance the information regarding to the date  and the schedule of the show, number in the catalogue, veterinary requirements. Every owner should be informed by e-mail, by post or by post on the RKF and the National Breed Club website. 

3.2.In entering a dog to the Dog Show their owner should provide:

 

The owner / holder is responsible for provision of correct data.

The entry form must have been completely filled in and signed buy owners and returned to the organizers before the entry deadline.

Without working or champion certificates accompanied the copy of a pedigree the dog is entered in Open Class.

 

To enter a dog in Working Class, the entry form must be accompanied by a copy of the FCI compulsory certificate, WCC (Working Class Certificate) containing the confirmation by the member country, that the dog has passed an appropriate test as well as complete details of this test.

 

For dogs of Groups I, II, III (except Earth dogs)

One of the following certificates is obligatory:

IPO, IPO-FH,  IPO-R, IPO-MR, HWT-TS, HWT-CS, IHT-TS, INT-CS, ОКД + ЗКС, КС (for Russian Breeds);

 

For Earth dogs (Fox terrier, Border Terrier, Parson Russell Terrier, Welsh Terrier, Deutscher Jagdterrier):

Earth trial tests or Blood trial tests are obligatory;

 

For Dachshunds (Group IV):

Earth trial tests or Blood trial tests are obligatory;

 

Nordic Sledge Dogs: Greenland Dog, Samoyed, Alaskan Malamute, Siberian Husky

 SD Racing test  Certificate  is obligatory;

 

Hunting Dogs: Laikas

Forest game Certificate is obligatory;

 

Primitive type: Pharaoh Hound, Cirneco Dell’Etna, Podengo Canario, Podengo Ibicenco

Coursing Certificate is obligatory;

 

For dogs of Group 6 (Scent hounds):

Hunting tests  or Blood trial tests are obligatory;

 

For dogs of Group 7 (Pointing Dogs):

Field trials & Hunting tests Certificate are obligatory;

 

For group of Group 8 (For Retrievers only):

Field trials or Working Test Certificate are obligatory.

 

For Group 10 (Sighthounds):

Sighthound Races and Lure Coursing & Game test (fox, hare) are obligatory.

 

To enter a dog in Champion Class, one of the following titles must have been confirmed by the day of the official closing date of entries; proof of this, by copy, must be enclosed with the entry form:  International Beauty Champion of the FCI (CIB), International Show Champion of the FCI (CIE),  National Beauty Champion of an FCI member country,  National Show Champion of an FCI country,  National Beauty Champion of a non-FCI country which has signed a letter of understanding with FCI (AKC, KC, CKC).

 

Transfer of the dog to the other class is permitted in the case the dog entered the Open or Intermediate class has received the working certificate, or the  Beauty Champion certificate, or the National Champion Certificate  before the closing date. In this case the organizer may ask for the additional fee, if it has been raised from the date of the initial registration.

 

The organizer of the Show sets the amount and the scheme of a registration fee.

 

In the case of the dog’s death or serious injury the owner in writing notifies the organizer. The application should be accompanied with the original of the official paper signed by a recognized vet specialist. When provided to the organizer before the closing date, the entry fee is completely returned to the owner / holder.

 

 

4.1.It is the duty of the ring steward to announce the qualification (by a ribbon or a colored flag).

4.2.The following qualifications are given in Junior, Intermediate, Open, Working, Champion Classes:

            Excellent (red ribbon)

            Very good (blue ribbon)

            Good (green ribbon)

            Sufficient (yellow ribbon)

            Disqualified (white ribbon)

            Cannot be judged

4.3.The following qualifications are given in Baby and Puppy Classes:

            Very promising (red ribbon)

            Promising (blue ribbon)

Not promising (yellow ribbon)

            Disqualified (white ribbon)

            Cannot be judged.

4.4. Titles

The following titles can be awarded and certificates can be given on the judge’s decision in the ring:

 

CW (Class Winner) is awarder to the first dog in the class, which was given the qualification “EXCELLENT”.

R.CW (Reserve Class Winner) is awarder to the second dog in the class, which was given the qualification “EXCELLENT”.

 

J. CAC (Junior Candidate for the Russian Champion) is awarded to the best junior male and the best junior female.

R.J. CAC (Reserve Junior Candidate for the Russian Champion) is awarded to the second best junior in males and females.

Junior Breed Champion is awarded to the best junior male and the best junior female.

 

CAC (Candidate for the Russian Beauty Champion) is awarder to the class winners in intermediate, open, working, champion classes.

R.CAC (Reserve Candidate for the Russian Beauty Champion) is awarder to the second dog in the class which was given the qualification “EXCELLENT”  in intermediate, open, working, champion classes.

RKF Ch (Russian Kynological Federation Champion)  is awarded to the best adult male and the best adult female in the breed.

Breed Champion  is awarded to the best adult male and the best adult female in the breed.

 

The Reserve CACs can be awarded provided that the CACs titles have been awarded.

 

Best Male is awarded to the best adult male in the breed in comparing those which have been awarded “CW” in intermediate, open, working and champion classes.

 

Best Female is awarded to the best adult female in the breed in comparing those which have been awarded “CW” in intermediate, open, working and champion classes.

 

Best Baby in the breed is awarded to the best baby in the breed in comparing the best baby male (CW) and the best baby female (CW).

 

Best Puppy in the breed  is awarded to the best puppy in the breed in comparing the best puppy male (CW) and the best puppy female (CW).

 

Best Junior in the breed is awarded to the best junior in the breed in comparing the best junior male (CW) and the best junior female (CW).

 

Best Veteran in the breed is awarded to the best veteran in the breed in comparing the best veteran male (CW) and the best veteran female (CW).

 

BOB (Best of Breed) is chosen from six dogs: Best Junior male, Best Junior female, Best Male, Best Female, Best Veteran male, Best Veteran female.

 

BOS (Best of Opposite Sex): The judge must also choose the best dog from the opposite sex next to the BOB winner.

 

 

The organizing committee must guarantee that the judging in the rings as well as all other competitions do not start before the time announced. The judging a breed before the time specified in the schedule prohibited.

The judge has to ensure that the judging in his ring proceeds effectively, each dog being judged and treated equally and with respect and using the same procedure throughout his judging. A critique given by the judge is obligatory for every dog. Toy breeds and some other small breeds have to be examined on a table provided by the organizers (The table for grooming with nonslip covering is desirable).

The judge is considered to be the central figure of the ring. The steward has to assist the judge and has the right to decide some organizing issues, but only if the judge agrees with it.

Any decision taken by the judge in terms of evaluation, placement and awarding the title to the dog  is the final one and should not be cancelled.

Protests against the judges not accepted.

Four best dogs in every class given not less than “VERY GOOD” are placed from the fourth to the first place. In puppy class the puppies given not less than “PROMISING” are placed in the same order.

 

It is forbidden to show dogs wearing strict collars, muzzles, breast- bands. Only leashes are permitted. Out of the ring dogs should be in the boxes, cages or on short leashes.

It is forbidden to prepare a dog with any substance that will alter the structure, colour or form of the coat, skin or nose. The organizer has the right to leave prepared in such a way dogs out of the ring.

A latecomer is not allowed to the ring.

Leaving the ring during the procedure without judge permission may result in disqualification of the dog.

 

The exhibitors are responsible for the welfare of the dogs at the Dog Show. It is forbidden to expose a dog to a situation that can be dangerous for its health and welfare, such as for example leaving it in the car in excessively hot or cold weather and/or treating it in a cruel manner.  Unethical behaviour at the Dog Show venue is not allowed.

Violation of this ruling will result in exclusion from the ongoing and future dog shows.

If a dog behaves aggressively in the ring and its behaviour is eye-witnessed by the judge in duty, the latter has to write a report for the attention of the organizing committee and has to disqualify the dog for the rest of the competition. All the awards and titles of the day are cancelled.

 

It is forbidden to stand the cages and boxes with dogs and the grooming tables too close to the ring. The passages for participants and visitors should be of appropriate width.

 

Selling of puppies at the Dog Show is prohibited.
